It was Amy’s third show with her third youth CAC so Amy is now Dutch junior Ch.
She did it in a record time and hardly 11 months old .well done Amy.
Rhapsody and Poika were also entered in brace class as they both are going to have a long show break- we hope to mate Rhapsody early 2008 and we have three young Springers who want to start showing as well – it was their last appearance and they ended with great stile
Again first place.
Linda Schenk handled Poika again to a first place in junior competition.
So Linda is already placed for the Junior Handling finals at Amsterdam next year.
Well done Linda.

Thursday 27th November This early morning our sweet old Lizzy passed away very unexpected. There are no words to express our grief about this loss. Sweet Lizzy thanks for all the love and friendship and not to forget all those beautiful moments in the show ring. You were the best.
If tears could build a stairway And heartache make a lane I’d walk the path to heaven And bring you back again.

Our dog club was asked to come with some dogs into a house for older people
Boogie and 8 month old Amy were two of the dogs and they did behave so well.
They just loved all the attention they got.

Sunday September 30th we had to return to Maastricht for the “grand final “ BIS where Poika reached place 8th.
Poika and Rhaps together became second in Brace class
Daughter Daphne handled Rhapsody to a lovely second place in junior handling and is now qualified for the finals in Amsterdam
Well done Daphne!!
Al together we just had a wonderful show weekend.

Friday July 27th
The arrival at Schiphol airport from: Whisborne Viking Voyager “Darwin “ for friends.
This lovely little fellow is owned by Meredith Miller Tanglewood kennel USA and Kennel van het Veense Springertje.
Darwin will stay in Holland till Spring 2009 than he will visit Meredith for a year.
Meredith thank you so much for sharing Darwin with us.
Also many thanks to Harald and Annika kennel Whisborne Sweden for letting Darwin go to Holland.
Saturday July 14th examination day at KC de Batouwe.
Amy went for her first obedience examination and passed with the maximum points.
She turned out the be the best of the day….well done Amy!
In a fourth night we expect a “surprise box” out of Sweden just watch our homepage for further information.

Puppies are more than 8 weeks old by now and next Sunday they will depart to their new owner. We wish Marion and Tim Edwin and Bianca and kids all the best with their new house mate. We hope and trust that you will take care very well about our two boys.
The third will stay here at the kennel.

Monday April 2nd Today our lovely, naughty big pride and joy but above all the “grand old lady” World Champion Multi ch.Dizzy Lizzy van het Veense Springertje becomes 12 years old.
We hope that we may have her for a couple of years more in good health.
Tuesday March 27th with Pebbles to the vet for an ultra sound to find out if she is pregnant or not.
Four weeks ago she was inseminated with chilled semen from the young black and white boy from Nicola Calvert: Calvdale Blak to the Future and no did not spell his name wrong.
And YES Pebbles is pregnant!!!

Wednesday march 7 th first birthday of the 10 puppies from Siena and Sinbad.
It is good to know that all the owners are so happy with their “Veense Springertje”
The puppies owners did not forget their birthday but I think that some like their present more than the other

Saturday Januari 27 th. Puppies are about 2,5 weeks old.
Rose turned out to be a very good mother and the puppies are growing fast.
There are 6 little fat puppies sleeping into the whelping box.
The last couple of days they opened their eyes so they start to waggle into the box.

The puppies of Rose ( Obsession in Blue English Rose) and Pedro (Whisborne Latin Lover) arrived. Four males and two bitches. Mother and children are doing well. Look under litter for the first pictures. Every weekend we will try to put new pictures on our site.
